Barangay Sto. Niņo recipient of Multi-Cab!
Congressman Marcy R. Teodoro and Punong Barangay Domingo dela Paz signed a MOA last October 21, 2008 at the
barangay hall of Sto Niņo which granted the barangay a service vehicle as patrol car to effectively provide and deliver public
safety to the barangay.
The MOA signing was witnessed by Kgwd. Zaldy Josef, Kgwd. Roy Delgado, Kgwd. Marcial Atanacio and Kgwd. JK Magno and all
barangay employees.
The service vehicle was turned over to the barangay after the MOA signing.

Barangay General Assembly!
Barangay Sto.Niņo General Assembly held its bi-annual Barangay Assembly last October 18,2008,
as mandated by Proclamation No. 342, 9:00 in the morning at the barangay basketball court in Manotoc Subdivision.
Present during the assembly are all the barangay council headed by Punong Barangay Domingo "Barako" dela Paz with the representative
from DILG, Mr. Danilo Buracan.
The assembly started with a prayer led by SK Kagawad Sharmaine Figueroa, followed by singing of the national anthem.
Kagawad Roy Delgado acted as the host. Kapitan Barako reported on the budget, funds and some finished and proposed projects
of the barangay. He also discussed drug addiction and advised all parents to be alert on their children. The third item
that was discussed was about robbery into which hold-ups are being staged by criminals on-board passenger jeepneys.
Kapitan Barako is trying to find solutions on this perennial problem and attributed the crime due to poverty.
After the report of the Punong Barangay, an open forum followed into which constituents were given the chance to ask their
concerns. Kapitan Barako, assured that he will do his best to solve all the problems and concerns.
The assembly ended with small talks and snacks.

Barangay Tanod Attends Seminar
The Barangay Tanods of Sto. Niņo attended the Proficiency Training/Seminar
in Bagiuo City last October 1 to 3, 2008. The seminar focuses on Public Ehtics and Accountability,
The role of Barangay Tanods in the promotion of Barangay Governance, Law Enforcement and Crime Prevention
which includes The Arresting Procedures and Techniques, Basic Intelligence and Investigation,
Domestic Violence Handling and Civil Disturbance Management & Crowd Control.
The Seminar also updated them to the latest City Ordinance and other applicable laws and Human Rights
Violations and Disaster Management. They were joined by the Barangay Tanods from Fortune, Taņong, Kalumpang and IVC.
Cong. Marcy Teodoro Distributes Scholarships to 319 Beneficiaries
With the help of the DSWD and the Barangay Council, Congressman Marcy Teodoro distributed scholarship
to 165 Elementary, 136 High School and 18 College students. According to Cong. Marcy, this grant aims to subsidies the
needs of the students whether to buy necessary books and other school supplies they need. He also assured the beneficiaries
of the continued allocation of funds for the program. A certificate was issued to the beneficiaries into which they need to
keep and show this to claim their annual scholarship until they finished their education.
Manila Water conducts Sanitasyon para sa Barangay Program!
The Manila Water in cooperation with the Sangguniang Barangay of Sto. Niņo and the City Government
of Marikina started the Displudging Program dubbed as "TODO SIPSIP PROGRAM" last September 8 and will run
until October 18, 2008.
